Twin platform bed – Starting with make platform from two boards measuring 39 inches by 10 inches by 1 inch and two boards measuring 75 inches by 10 inches by 1 inch. Add the boards in a rectangular shape, which makes a big box. The sides measuring 75 inches, the top and bottom measure 39 inches and the box must be 10 inches high. Apply wood glue to the edges of each table and press the boards together. Attach wooden clamps on the edges of each table. The clamps firmly hold the pieces together until the glue dries. Place a 1 ½ – inch wood screw at a corner where the two panels meet. Sink two screws into the wood. Work your way around the platform box, sinking two screws in each corner. The combination of screws and glue keeps the platform together. Arranging ten 39-by-2 -by- -2- inch wooden boards at the top of the platform. Evenly space the boards across the platform. Each table will sit flush with the edges of the platform. Sink two wood screws at the end of each table; tighten the screws in the twin platform bed.
Drill holes through the metal bed frame. Space the holes across every page, making a hole every 2 inches. Turn the platform frame upside down so that the support side touching the floor and place metal frame on top. Attach wood screws through each hole in the metal bed frame. Tighten the screws until each sits flush with the metal. The screws holding the bed frame to the platform. Turn the bed head again and put the mattress on top of the twin platform bed.
