Wall Tile Panel Design

When you turn on the grid 45 degrees, though, you can create a diamond pattern in which your tiles rise up against the wall at the points on the tiles in place on the flat. Laying your wall tile panel in a diamond pattern is not as difficult as it may seem. It’s mostly a matter of planning and careful placement to ensure that the tiles run straight.

Turn off the power leads to the tiled area by tilting the marked circuits in your home electrical panel. Remove any wall mount with a screwdriver, including electric socket covers that will disturb the location of the tiles. Clean the wall with a pH-neutral detergent, a sponge for general cleaning and a scrub brush to remove ground in dirt.  Sand the wall with 80-grit sandpaper to rough up the surface, creating texture more suitable for the application of mastic adhesive for your wall tile panel.
